What is the HBS Club of Maine's mission?
Our mission is to provide a forum for improving skills, developing careers, expanding acquaintances, stimulating understanding of business issues, promoting economic development in Maine and pursuing community service opportunities. We welcome your suggestions on our speaker programs, activities and other ideas.
What are the benefits of Club membership?
Monthly Breakfast Series: Engage in lively discussions on relevant topics at the Breakfast Club which meets the second Wednesday of every month at the Cumberland Club in downtown Portland. Club members receive discounted pricing for these events. (HBS alumni and affiliate members)
Virtual Lunch Series: Access the monthly virtual lunch series hosted by HBS Professors. Listen to the latest research on a variety of topics and participate in live Q&A sessions via email. These events are available only to paid HBS Club members worldwide. (HBS alumni only)
Post and Search for Local Career Opportunities: Post and search job openings in Maine via the "Local Opportunities" tab on our website. (HBS alumni and affiliate members)
Access to Club Member Directory: Through the HBS Club website, Club members can search for other alum in Maine and other HBS Club of Maine members. (HBS alumni only)
Networking: Reconnect with friends, colleagues, acquaintances and the School.

Who can become a member of the HBS Club of Maine?
All HBS Alum are eligible for membership. In addition, we welcome other business school graduates and interested members of the local business community to join our club as Affiliates. Affiliate members have access to the Monthly Breakfast Series and Local Career Opportunities and Interest Groups on our website. Both Alumni and Affiliates may register for membership online by selecting "Become a Member" under the "Membership" tab on the Club website.
How can I become more involved in the HBS Club of Maine?
We are always looking for additional volunteer support from Alumni interested in the business of running the Club, and have many leadership positions available.
